The study aims to define the elements of common FPC requirements and the ISO 9001:2015 standard in plants producing construction products of road and bridge engineering. The quality management system ISO 9001: 2015 may be recognized as an FPC system by-product certification organization and by the producers themselves, provided that specific requirements specified in the product standard or national technical assessment are also met.

Zakładowa Kontrola Produkcji (ZKP) to system jakości, który jest obligatoryjny dla producentów wyrobów budowlanych. Powinien on być udokumentowany i nadzorowany. Celem autorów, przyjętym w niniejszym opracowaniu, jest identyfikacja uwarunkowań dotyczących dokumentowania ZKP, analogii pomiędzy ZKP a systemem jakości według normy ISO 9001:2015 i innymi regulacjami oraz wskazanie korzyści i trudności związanych z dokumentowaniem działań i ich wyników. Przedstawiona także została propozycja metody dotyczącej zarządzania dokumentacją systemu ZKP, która – zdaniem autorów – może ułatwić mniejszym organizacjom planowanie i realizację działań w tym zakresie. Propozycja ta oparta jest między innymi na wynikach badań empirycznych, które przeprowadzono, by określić potrzeby i problemy dotyczące ZKP występujące w grupie mniejszych producentów wyrobów budowlanych.

Factory Production Control (FPC) is a quality system that is obligatory for manufacturers of construction products. This system should be documented and supervised. The aim of the authors adopted in this study is to identify conditions for FPC documentation, analogies between ZKP and the quality system according to ISO 9001:2015 and other regulations, and to indicate the benefits and difficulties associated with documenting activities and their results. A proposal for a method for documentation management of the FPC system will also be presented, which, in the authors’ opinion, may help organizations plan and implement activities in this area. This proposition is based on the results of empirical research that was carried out to determine the needs and problems related to FPCs in the group of smaller producers of construction products.
