This article discusses whether iPerf can be used as an effective tool for wired and wireless LAN throughput estimation. The potential advantages of using iPerf in comparison to FTP are discussed. Finally, the article presents the throughput measurement results obtained with FTP, iPerf2 and iPerf3 in a simple experimental network.

The energy consumption of the car depends on traffic conditions and the car characteristics, speed and motion resistance such as rolling resistance, the slope angle, wind speed, etc. Vehicle speed determines the energy consumption in the vehicle in the comparable moving conditions. It is necessary to perform the research in a number of tests corresponding to the different traffic conditions to widen the knowledge beyond that from type-approval tests. The article presents energy consumption studies of electric passenger car in both approval tests: European – NEDC, American – FTP as well as special tests, for example Stop and Go. The tests were repeated several times, i.e. for different initial levels of battery charge. In addition, tests under real traffic conditions on the big city streets have been conducted. The measurements were made on a Zilent Courant passenger car, produced by Chinese company Shandong Baoya New Energy Vehicle Co. ltd. This is a pure electric vehicle, which meets the conditions for qualifying it as a “pure electric vehicle” in accordance with section 2 of the ECE Regulation no. 101. Courant is a 4-seat vehicle, based on the version of the spark ignition engine. The vehicle is equipped with an electric, brushless engine of 8.5 kW power. Acid-lead batteries provide a nominal voltage of 120 V.

Artykuł przedstawia kroki podejmowane podczas opisywania i realizacji projektu, który studenci kierunku informatyka mogą wykonać na przedmiocie sieci komputerowe. Projekt jest praktyczną formą zastosowania wiedzy zdobytej podczas laboratorium. Autorka zauważa, że umiejscowienie wiedzy zdobywanej podczas laboratorium w konkretnej sytuacji i w konkretnym problemie pozwala lepiej zrozumieć i zapamiętać materiał.

Article present steps making during describing and executing project. The project is practical form of using of knowledge gained during lab. Author points that placement of the knowledge in concrete situation and problem allows to better understand and remember lab material.

Eine sehr dynamische Entwicklung der Informatik gibt immer größere Möglichkeiten im Bereich virtuelle Arbeit und Lehre. Es ist genügt ein Computer mit Internet-Zugang zu Hause zu haben um arbeiten und lernen unabhängig von dem Platz und der Zeit zu können. In der Artikel werden die Vorteile der neuen Ausbildungs und Arbeitsformen dargestellt. Es werden auch die Gefahren, die damit verbunden sind -auf ersten Platz steht die Begrenzung der zwischenmenschlichen Kontakte-, besprochen. Es werden die Arbeitsweise in der Entfernung und die geeigneten für solche Arbeit Berufe präsentiert. Weiter kann man lesen: was für Nutzen gibt Teleworking und oeiche sind ihre Entwicklungsbarriere. Der Artikel berührt auch die Probleme der Wissenserreichung in der virtuelle Schule und ihre Priorität gegen die traditionelle Lernform. Es werden die Moglichkeiten, die Computer geben im Bereich der Zutritt und Verarbeitung der Informationen. dargestellt. Die unerläßlichen Bedingungen für effektive distance learning und die niedrige Popularität diese Lernweise in Polen werden diskutiert.
