Artykuł kończy się nakreśleniem możliwych kierunków zmian w obszarze finansowania zabezpieczenia logistycznego.

The article analyzes particular solutions adopted within the framework of within of the ATHENA mechanism, cooperated with European Defence Agency and also the role and tasks of mission commander in terms of financing logistic support. The article concludes by indicating possible trends of change in the area of financing missions and operations.

Artykuł wyraża określone podejście badawcze względem rozwiązań organizacyjno - technicznych dotyczących systemu pozyskiwania i utrzymania w eksploatacji sprzętu wojskowego w kontekście zapewnienia interesów bezpieczeństwa narodowego. Podejście to opiera się na działalności i przykładach zaczerpniętych z praktyki Polskiej Grupy Zbrojeniowej S.A. i spółek tworzących Grupę PGZ S.A

The aim of this article is to present, analyze and attempt to evaluate selected issues concerning the issues of security of supply in the projects development of defense capabilities EDA. configuration management as a tool for the effective elimination of the risks posed by products designed for the needs of defense and security for the life and health of the users. Article expresses the specific research approach in relation to organizational solutions - technical specifications for system acquisition and maintenance of military equipment in operation in the context of ensuring national security interests in the context. This approach is based on the activities and examples taken from the practice of Polish Armament Group S.A. and companies forming a group PGZ S.A.

This article presents Poland’s involvement in the European Defence Agency's international research and technology programme entitled "European Unmanned Maritime Systems for Mine-Countermeasures". It will point out the main assumptions of the programme as well as the role of the Polish R&T entities in achieving its goals. Moreover, the article will demonstrate prospects for further maritime mine-countermeasure technology development in relation to Poland’s naval needs.

Artykuł przedstawia zaangażowanie Polski w realizację międzynarodowego programu naukowo-badawczego Europejskiej Agencji Obrony „Europejskie bezzałogowe systemy morskie do walki minowej”. Opisane w nim zostały główne założenia oraz cele programu, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem roli biorących w nim udział polskich podmiotów naukowo-badawczych. Publikacja prezentuje również wizję dalszego rozwoju technologii walki minowej na potrzeby Marynarki Wojennej.

This article presents main goals and objectives of European Defence Agency (EDA), its organizational structure and performance and tasks of particular EDA Departments. This paper also shows principles and mechanisms of financing joint cooperation projects or programmes run under the auspicious of Agency. An OBRUM activity in EDA research and development projects and programmes has also been shown.

The article discusses the institutional issues of co-operation in the area of defence industry, especially the most recently founded organisation called the European Defence Agency. In the author’s opinion, the co-operation in the armament area is the basic precondition for success of the European Security and Defence Policy (ESDP), which aims at creating mobile and efficient anti-crisis forces. The article presents the current common policy experience in the area of production, import and export of products related to security and defence. The foundation of a major consortium called the Aeronautic Defence and Space Company (EADS) in 1999 is considered to mark a breakthrough in the development of the European defence industry. The company’s potential is enormous due to its participants, among which are France, Spain and Germany. The most important projects currently developed by the European defence industry include “Airbus”, “Eurocopter”, "Helios" and “Eurofighter”. These projects are now supervised by the European Defence Agency founded on 12 July 2004.
