W pracy omowiono aktualne problemy projektowania odwodnień terenów zurbanizowanych w świetle wymagań europejskich standardow PN-EN 752:2000/2001, PN-EN 752:2008 i PN-EN 752:2017, z uwzględnieniem zmian klimatu. Do wymiarowania kanalizacji deszczowej zalecono bezpieczną metodę (MMN), z probabilistycznymi modelami opadów maksymalnych. Sformułowano także zalecenia do doboru kanałów deszczowych.

The paper discusses current problems of designing drainage of urban areas in the light of the requirements of European standards PN-EN 752:2000/2001, PN-EN 752:2008 and PN-EN 752:2017, taking into account climate change. The safe method (MMN) with probabilistic models of maximum rainfall was recommended for the dimensioning of the storm water drainage system. Recommendations for the selection of rain channels were also formulated.

This paper presents the results of the research on beech sawn timber (Fagus sylvatica L.) with nominal cross-sectional dimensions of 50mm×150mm, produced from the trees harvested in Szczecin Lowland district (Baltic natural-forest region). After testing according to the standard EN 408:2010+A1:2012 and calculating the characteristic values in accordance with the standard EN 384:2016, it was found that beech timber visual graded to the class KW according to Polish standard PN-D-94021:2013 can be assigned to the strength class D30.
