Artykuł prezentuje podstawowe charakterystyki mierników pola elektromagnetycznego (PEM) oraz ich wpływ na przydatność mierników pomiarach ochronnych. Dokonano w nim analizy parametrów istotnych z punktu widzenia pomiarów z uwzględnieniem pól modulowanych oraz impulsowych oraz przedstawiono wpływ najważniejszych parametrów związanych z charakterystykami: dynamiczną, częstotliwościową oraz czasową.

The article presents the basic characteristics of the electromagnetic field (EMF) meters and their impact and usefulness in safety measurements. Was made an analysis of the parameters relevant to the field measurements including modulated and pulse fields and the influence of the most important parameters related to the dynamic, frequency and time characteristics.

Wzorcowanie mierników PEM to proces, w którym pojawia się wiele aspektów dyskusyjnych. Praca przedstawia niektóre z nich wraz z różnymi podejściami do ich rozwiązania. Dokonano w niej porównania metod uśredniania wyniku pomiaru, a także poruszono inne kwestie mające wpływ na wynik wzorcowania jak np. dobór kąta obrotu w trakcie pomiaru izotropowego wraz z odniesieniem się do norm i zaleceń. Praca stanowi podłoże do dalszych badań oraz do dyskusji.

Electromagnetic field (EMF) meter calibration is a process full of many aspects open to questions. The first section of the paper con-tains a review of EMF meter calibration methods including basic metrological characteristics. This topic was developed in the next sections when paying a special attention to essential factors influencing the calibration result. The parameter on which greatest attention is focused is isotropy. In the paper there is analysed the influence of many elements connected with isotropy evaluation, like for example position of an EMF detector in relation to the field vector (Fig. 3) or selection of a measurement step angle (Tab.1 and Fig. 4), on the calibration result. There are analysed problems related to isotropy estimation when using a few different approaches to its solving. There is also made a comparison of measurement result averaging methods with use of proper statistic analysis (Figs. 6, 7 and 8). Questions of minor importance including references to available standards and recommendations are dealt with [1, 4, 8, 9]. The presented aspects are specific evaluation of methods presented in European and American standards and recommendations as well as signalization of possible methodology differences resulted from its meaning diversities. Simultaneously There is shown the lack of Polish standards in this field. The ground for further research and open discussion is given.

Przedstawiono zasady nadzoru metrologicznego nad wyposażeniem pomiarowym na przykładzie mierników pola elektromagnetycznego. Omówiono metody wzorcowania i interpretację świadectw wzorcowania.
