Artykuł prezentuje elementy proekologicznej postawy przedsiębiorstw w zakresie wdrażania systemu ekozarządzania i audytu EMAS. Wykazano korzyści płynące z jego wdrożenia, ale także bariery i trudności w jego uruchomieniu. EMAS jest instrumentem stworzonym przez Komisję Europejską i uregulowanym Rozporządzeniem Parlamentu Europejskiego i Rady (WE) nr 1221/2009 z dnia 25.11.2009 roku.

The article presents the elements of the environment-friendly attitude of enterprises in the implementation of the EMAS eco-management and audit scheme. The benefits of its implementation were demonstrated, but also the barriers and difficulties in its implementation. EMAS is an instrument created by the European Commission and regulated by the European Parliament and Council Regulation (EC) No 1221/2009 of 25.11.2009.
