E-government – socially expected or officially imposed?

Purpose: the need to determine whether e-government is socially desirable or perhaps imposed on citizens by the government. Design/methodology/approach: Survey research method - quantitative research using a survey questionnaire carried out using CATI technique and the "Voice bot" assistive technique. Findings: the development of e-government is socially expected as well as imposed by the administration. Research limitations/implications: Generations BB and Z showed slightly more resistance to e-government than the rest of the generations. In-depth research should be carried out to demonstrate or falsify regularities. Social implications: If in-depth research shows that the BB and Z generations show greater resistance to e-government than other generations, then remedial steps should be identified and taken (especially in the case of Z-s that enter mature life and will be contacted more and more often with the administration). Convincing generations to e-government will affect the quality of social life. Originality/value: Linking openness or resistance to the use of e-government with belonging to a specific generation. The article is particularly useful for the administration when targeting its services to generational groups.

Water could be some-times a source of danger on people's lives and property. Although it is one of the most important elements of life on this planet. This article define the threat of water pollution in Tigris River in Iraq. by collecting a data that generated by sensors that installed in a water pollution sensing project in Baghdad city, also this article aimed to detect and analyze the behavior of water environment. It is an effort to predict the threat of pollution by using advanced scientific methods like the technology of Internet of Things (IoT) and Machine learning in order to avoid the threat and/or minimize the possible damages. This can be used as a proactive service provided by E-governments towards their own citizens.

E-government has become play an important role in improving government services, and increase effectiveness and efficiency in providing services. Many countries have become aware of the importance of adopting e-government project in improve services, reduce costs, and save time by providing the services anywhere at any time. E-government has become a tool to improving the economic aspect, administrative organization, and increase and trust between the government and beneficiaries. The adopting of e-government requires a clear vision, and identifying all factors that contribute to its success. This paper will give an overview of e-government concept, and e-government around the world, also the paper will discuss the e-government domains, and e-government development life-cycle, as well as discussing the benefits and the challenges of adopts e-government project.
