The aim of this work is to analyze and evaluate aggression occurring in the reality that surrounds us and its description in literature on the example of the novel by the Nobel Prize winner Elfriede Jelinek. The main research problem of the work was defined in the form of a question: how does aggression change a person? The secondary goal was to identify the elements of the social system, which, as a result of passivity, can lead to serious disturbances that are dangerous not only for a given individual, but also for other participants of social life. The following research methods were used in the work: analysis and synthesis, which allowed for the appropriate interpretation of the existing data, induction and deduction, which allowed finding the answer to the research question considered in the work. An analysis of sources, monographs, and scientific articles dealing with the researched subject was also used.

Celem przedmiotowej pracy jest analiza i ocena agresji występującej w otaczającej nas rzeczywistości oraz jej opis w literaturze na przykładzie powieści noblistki Elfriede Jelinek. Główny problem badawczy pracy określono w formie pytania: jak agresja zmienia człowieka? Celem pobocznym natomiast było wskazanie elementów systemu społecznego, który w wyniku bierności może doprowadzać do poważnych zaburzeń niebezpiecznych nie tylko dla danej jednostki, ale również dla innych uczestników życia społecznego. W pracy zastosowano następujące metody badawcze: analizę i syntezę, które pozwoliły na odpowiednią interpretacje zastanych danych, indukcję i dedukcję, które pozwoliły na znalezienie odpowiedzi na rozważne w pracy pytanie badawcze. Zastosowano również analizę źródeł, monografii, artykułów naukowych traktujących o badanej tematyce.
