Quality management as a context for a discussion of the efficiency of the courses lets us show that main factors are employee competency, evaluations and satisfying the needs of courses in organization. The presentation defines the needs structure of the courses with reference to different subject areas eg sources, dassification. The review of the functions of courses shows their implications for Learning cycle and relations to levels of satisfying the needs and the place of goals of courses as the base of measuring efficiency. The short review of the methods of measuring the level of efficiency of the courses prove new aspects of methodology related to type and time of courses, kind of participants and profits. The article concludes with a discussion regarding the costs of courses as the based for measuring efficiency. The author reaches the condusions that process approach referred to efficiency in courses may improve human resources management practice.
