In this paper, by differentiating the entropy’s generating function (i.e., h(t) = R SX̄F tX (x)dx) using a Caputo fractional-order derivative, we derive a generalized non-logarithmic fractional cumulative residual entropy (FCRE). When the order of differentiation α → 1, the ordinary Rao CRE is recovered, which corresponds to the results from first-order ordinary differentiation. Some properties and examples of the proposed FCRE are also presented.

Continuous rotary extrusion (CRE) is the more and more frequently used variation of the plastic working process. Magnesium alloys, due to its properties are becoming increasingly popular as a substitute for aluminium alloys and steel, particularly in the aerospace and transportation industries. The main aim of this study was to optimize the parameters of the CRE process for selected commercial magnesium alloys such as AZ81 and AZ91. Extruded in CRE process rods were subjected to visual observations, microstructure examination, and testing of mechanical properties. Basing on the CRE test results and studies, parameters enabling successful execution of the process were specified. It was found that the greatest impact on the extrusion process has the die temperature, and it can be controlled mainly by adjustment of other CRE parameters (eg. process speed).

Ciągłe wyciskanie na kole CRE jest coraz częściej stosowanym procesem przeróbki plastycznej przez wyciskanie. Stopy magnezu ze względu na ich właściwości coraz częściej wypierają stopy aluminium oraz stal, szczególnie z przemysłu lotniczego i transportowego. Celem pracy była optymalizacja parametrów procesu CRE, w odniesieniu do wybranych, przemysłowych stopów magnezu AZ 81 i AZ 91. Pręty wyciśnięte w procesie CRE poddano ocenie wizualnej, obserwacjom mikrostruktury, a także badaniu własności mechanicznych. Na podstawie przeprowadzonych prób wyciskania na kole i wyników badań określono parametry procesu, dla których proces przebiegał pomyślnie. Stwierdzono, że na proces wyciskania największy wpływ ma temperatura matrycy, którą kontrolować można głównie poprzez odpowiednie dobranie pozostałych parametrów (np. prędkości procesu).

W artykule zawarto przegląd stosowanych metod wyceny współczesnych organizacji. Przedstawiono najczęstsze cele realizacji wycen przedsiębiorstw. W syntetyczny sposób omówiono poszczególne metody wyceny (metody majątkowe, dochodowe, mieszane, multiplikacyjne), wskazując na ich słabości. Omówiono również metodologię wyceny nieruchomości przedsiębiorstw (corporate real estate - CRE). W artykule zawarto wnioski oraz wyznaczono kierunki dalszych badań.

The paper presents critical review of contemporary organization valuation metodology. The main valuation objectivs are presented. In synthetic way separate methods (assets-based methods, income-based methods, combined methods, multiplication-based methods) were disscusion and their weakness were indicated. In the article valuation methodology of corporate real estate (CRE) was also presented. There are conculsions and direction of futher reaserch in the paper.

The rapid growth of private schools in Poland that took place at the end of the 90s and the huge increase in the number of students entering public universities has created an urgent need to set up appropriate mechanisms to ensure and evaluate the quality of university education. This paper shows selected European international systems for evaluating education quality, e.g. EQUIS, SECAI, CRE. The final part of the paper gives a comparative analysis of the mentioned systems of evaluation education quality and the ISO 9001:2000 standard.
