The study presents results of analytical and numerical investigations on wood composite I-beams reinforced with CFRP carbon fiber. The strips of carbon fiber were glued to the bottom surface of the flanges of the beams. The change in stiffness of different beams was compared i.e., the beams with reinforcement, the beams without reinforcement and reinforcement beams with pre-stresses. The results of these calculations were presented in the form of tables, graphs and bitmap images.
