Perspektywy zasobowe złoża iłów Blanowice C zależą w znacznej mierze od morfologii i głębokości zalegania stropu piaskowca kościeliskiego, tworzącego spąg serii ilastej. Do rozpoznania wgłębnej struktury geologicznej wykorzystano szybką i prostą metodę sondowań elektrooporowych. Uzyskany na tej podstawie opornościowy model górotworu posiada charakter trój- lub czterowarstwowy, co koreluje się dobrze z profilem litologicznym osadów środkowojurajskich. Wydzielone warstwy są jednorodne geofizycznie i geologicznie. Antropogeniczne przekształcenia górotworu mogą wpływać negatywnie na wartość interpretacyjną pomiarów, co jest dokuczliwe zwłaszcza w przypadku małych złóż. Geofizyczny obraz górotworu sugeruje, że morfologia stropu piaskowca jest urozmaicona, a zasoby zalegające pod poziomem aktualnego rozpoznania eksploatacyjnego mogą być znikome.

Reserves of the Blanowice C clay deposit are depended mainly on the depth and morphology of the Kościelisko sandstone building the bottom of clayey series. For recognition of the subsurface geological structure the quick and simple electrical sounding was used. The obtained resistance model of the rock-mass has 3- or 4-layer character. It is conformable to the lithological profile of the Middle Jurassic sediments in this region. The distinguishing layers are homogenous in the geophysical and geological sense. Antropogenical transformations of the rock-mass have negative influence on the interpretative value of measurements, what is troublesome particulary in a case of small deposits. The geophysical model of the rock-mass suggests that morphology of the top surface of sandstone is diversified and the reserves of raw material can be less then valued in the geological documentation.
