Inż. i Ap. Chem. 2005, 44, no 4s, p. 70 Cultures of hairy roots of Arnica montana were cultivated in a mist bioreactor for different medium: B5, 1B5, 1B5 - mod.l and 1B5 - mod.2. Fresh and dry biomass were estimated after 28 days. The content of polyphenols in biomass was measured. The best results, i.e. the highest content of polyphenols were obtained for 1B5.
Transformed root cultures of Arnica montana were cultivated in shaking flasks of 300 cm3 containing 80 cm3 hormone-free B5 medium with 5% of sucrose. Fresh and dry biomass changes, uptake of main nutrients and conductivity were investigated during the process.
