All optical binary ASK demodulator using photonic crystal based nonlinear ring resonator

In this paper we will propose and design an all optical amplitude shift keying demodulator using a photonic crystal based nonlinear ring resonator. The proposed structure will be designed such that it can generate digital 0 and 1 based on the amplitude of the input signal. The working mechanism is based on controlling the optical behavior of the resonant ring using optical intensity. The proposed structure was simulated using plane wave expansion and finite difference time domain methods. The simulation results show that the rise and fall times for the proposed structure are 0.5 and 0.1 ps, respectively.

W wyniku postępu technicznego do eksploatacji zostały wprowadzone kombajny zbożowe z automatyczną regulacją zespołów roboczych. Mając na uwadze problem jakości ziarna siewnego w artykule podjęto próbę przeprowadzenia analizy podstawowych procesów związanych ze zbiorem zbóż kombajnami z automatyczną regulacja zespołów roboczych. Artykuł zawiera również analizę porównawczą jakości pracy kombajnów z oraz bez automatycznej regulacji. Nie ulega wątpliwości, iż przeprowadzone analizy mogą przynieść wymierne efekty ekonomiczne i gospodarcze w wyniku ograniczenia strat ziarna, jak również uzyskania wyższych plonów.

As a result of technical progress, new combine-harvesters with automatic control of working units were introduced for use. In consideration of the problem of quality of seed-grains in the article, an attempt was made to analyse the primary processes related to the harvesting of grains by means of harvesters with automatic control of working units. The article contains also a comparative analysis of the quality of work of combines with and without an automatic control system. Undoubtedly, the completed analyses may bring measurable economic results and contribute to the limitation of grain losses and the obtaining of higher yield.
