Artykuł opisuje rozszerzenie możliwości zarządzania doborem i wymianą transformatorów SN/nn przy wykorzystaniu danych pomiarowych z systemu Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI). Analizy przeprowadzono na próbce ponad 1900 transformatorów, które pracują w dwóch różnych typach sieci SN: sieci obejmującej teren wiejski i teren miejski. Przeprowadzone analizy pokazują, że istnieje duży potencjał w zakresie optymalizacji mocy transformatorów.

The paper presents the extended possibilities of managing the selection and replacement of MV/LV transformers using the measurement data from the Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) system. The analysis was conducted on samples of over 1900 transformers that operate in two different types of MV grids: rural and urban. The analysis has shown that there is a great potential in the field of optimizing the rated power of the transformers.

Paper shows results of research in hourly water consumption from AMI water-meter system before and during the COVID-19 pandemic time.
New measuring technologies enable remote metering of consumed electric power and allow reduction of its consumption. A so-called intelligent meter of the electric power is provided with a software enabling real time transmitting of the measured data. This is very important both to the customer and the service provider. The data may be transmitted with cables or by wireless means. The paper presents various M2M-type communication ways. Various methods of delivery, transfer and reading the data have been considered. Possible use of cable and wireless media has been illustrated. The existing solutions of the problem have been indicated, e.g. DSL, ADSL, PCL, UTP, GPRS, GMS.
