W 1999 roku segmenty energetyczne koncernów ABB i ALSTOM połączyły się tworząc grupę o nazwie ABB ALSTOM POWER. Większa część dawnego ABB Zamech Ltd, w tym Zakład Metalurgiczny weszła do nowo powstałej organizacji pod nazwą ABB ALSTOM POWER Sp. z o.o. W Zakładzie Metalurgicznym dokonano weryfikacji strategii pod kątem sprostania potrzebom grupy w zakresie odlewnictwa. W ostatnich latach ceny rynkowe odlewów spadły drastycznie. Aby móc realizować wymagania klientów w zakresie produktu, ceny oraz cyklu dostaw konieczne jest przeprowadzenie szeregu inwestycji oraz nasilenie działań związanych z poprawą efektywności i jakości poszczególnych operacji produkcyjnych. Rozwój produktów, ich jakość, optymalizacja cykli produkcyjnych, podnoszenie efektywności produkcji to cele, które stale na nowo sobie określamy, realizując potrzeby klientów.

In 1999 the energetic segments of the ABB and ALSTOM concerns joined together creating a group under the name of ABB ALSTOM POWER. A greater part of the former ABB Zamech Ltd., including the Metallurgical Plant, came into the newly established organization under the name of ABB ALSTOM POWER Co. Ltd. In the Metallurgical Plant a verification of the strategy was made to keep pace with the group needs in the domain of foundry practice. In the last years the market prices of castings have fallen down drastically. To fulfil the customers' requirements concerning the product price and delivery cycle, it is necessary to carry out some investments as well as quality improvement when individual production operations are concerned. The dev-lopment of products, their quality, optimization of production cycles, increasing the production efficiency are the aims continuously revised and updated by the company in an effort to satisfy the customers' needs.
