Recovery of chloroorganic compounds from waste waters of glycerine epichlorohydrin production

A method of adsorptive recovery of 2,3-dichloropropane1-ol and epichlorohydrin from the waste waters generated in the production of glycerine epichlorohydrin has been presented. First, the mineral components are removed from the wastewater. The chloroorganic compounds are subsequently adsorbed onto activated carbon A. Their desorption is then carried out by allyl chloride. Allyl chloride is sequentially desorbed by steam. The streams formed during the desorption are recirculated to the production plant of glycerine epichlorohydrin.
