The results of 1,2-dichlorethane adsorption from aqueous solution onto three commercial activated carbons were presented. In the temperature range of 298-343 K the adsorption isotherms were described by the Freundlich equation. The k constant vs. reciprocal of temperature was described by an exponential equation whereas the n constant was found to be linearly dependent on temperature.
