W artykule przedstawiono wybrane wyniki teoretyczno-doświadczalnych badań strunobetonowych żerdzi dwugałęziowych typu BSW-14/350. W świetle wymagań norm z okresu projektowania żerdzi (około 1970 r.) i wyników badań, żerdzie BSW mają niewystarczającą rysoodporność, a według obecnych norm rysy mogą w nich wystąpić pod obciążeniem zmiennym krótkotrwałym. Natomiast bardziej rygorystycznie podchodzą obecne normy (np. PN-EN 12843:2008) do kwestii minimalnej otuliny zbrojenia gwarantującej minimum 30-letni okres eksploatacji.

The article presents selected results of theoretical and experimental studies of double branch pre-tensioned concrete poles of type BSW-14/350. According to the requirements of standards of their design time (about 197Oth) and the investigations results poles are insufficiently crack resistant. According to the current standards cracks may occur under changing short-term load. However, stricter approach is presented in current standards (e.g. PN-EN 12843:2008) at issue of minimum concrete cover guaranteeing at least 30 years exploitation period.
