An analysis of the industrial wastewater taken from dye-house of one textile factories from Lodz district was performed. Specific conductivity, pH, toxicity, COD, B0D5, TC, TOC, total phosphorus, total nitrogen and chloride content of samples were determined. Based on the conducted survey, wide diversification of baths' parameters from the dyeing process was found. Conclusions about the biodegradability of tested baths were drawn based on BOD5/COD, BOD5/N/P and toxicity values. The main objective of this paper was to propose a way of dividing the industrial wastewater from dye-house into separate streams and also to suggest methods of their treatment.
