The paper presents formal shape of the original numerical method of railway vehicle stability analysis in curved track. The method enables to investigate appearance and range of existence of stable limit cycles. Parameters of the limit cycles are source of information, needed to create a map of vehicle stability in straight and curved track for yehicle velocities between critical and derailment ones. Example results of the fore-described analysis are shown. The analysis includes influence of rail and wheel wear on vehicle stability properties.
