W pracy podjęto rozważania nad kształtowaniem struktury przędz komponentowych formowanych techniką łączenia pneumatycznego, w których składzie znajdują się dwie przędze składowe - przędza z włókien ciągłych oraz przędza z włókien odcinkowych. Dotychczas proces sczepiania pneumatycznego był wykorzystywany w obróbce i łączeniu przędz z włókien ciągłych. Część doświadczalna obejmowała wykonanie 45 wariantów przędz komponentowych w trzech układach asortymentowych, zawierających przędze składowe bawełniane pochodzące z trzech różnych systemów przędzenia (cienkoprzędny, średnioprzędny, rotorowy), połączone z gładką przędzą poliestrową z włókien ciągłych. Wyniki badań metrologicznych uzyskanych wariantów przędz komponentowych prze¬analizowano w funkcji parametrów technologicznych procesu łączenia. Dla wybranych wariantów przędz wykonano rzeczywiste próbki dzianin oraz wirtualne symulacje tkanin i dzianin w oparciu o optyczne badania struktury przędz. Wyniki badań zostały poddane ocenie statystycznej. Efektem pracy jest obraz kształtowania struktury i właściwości unikatowych przędz komponentowych, formowanych techniką sczepiania pneumatycznego w zależności od przyjętego układu przędz składowych oraz ustalonych wartości parametrów procesu ich łączenia.

The work concerns the study of the structure (the interaction between fibers of both feed yarns) of the component yarns made by highly efficient air interlacing technique. The component yarns were made of two feed yarns: continuous fiber yarn and staple fiber yarn. In next stage a plan of experiment was done which considered information on component yarns ingredients and the change of technological parameters of interlacing process. Then 45 variants of interlaced component yarns were made. Such yarns were made in three assortment groups, which contain three types of feed cotton yarns (carded, combed and rotor yarn) joined with polyester continuous yarn. The new yarns were examined in terms of their basic physical and quality features. The metrological tests results were analyzed in order to find dependencies between feed yarns structure and parameters, the parameters of the technological process of yarn connecting and the structure parameters of final interlaced component yarns. Finally tests were performed on using such yarns in the flat textiles production (a virtual visualization of appearance of the flat textiles - knitted and woven fabrics was prepared and the real knitted fabric from selected component yarns was made. The test results open the possibility of creating structure and parameters of unique component yarns, which were made by air interlacing technique. The proper selection of the basic technological parameters and types of feed yarn give possibility of obtaining yarns of required properties so these properties are fully used keeping the optimum processing efficiency.

The article presents test results on elasticity of bicomponent yarn. Tested yarns were made according to pneumatic interlacing technique. The experiment consisted in forming two assortment groups of component yarns containing components of classic cotton yarns: carded and combed yarn. The studies concerned the impact of technological factors and the values of controlled elongation given during sample testing on the elasticity of bicomponent yarns.

The article is a continuation of the publication: "Hairiness modelling of the component yarns pneumatically linked made with the use of classical cotton yarns", which was published in Textiles Review, Textiles, Garments, Leather, No 3/2011 and presents test results on hairiness of component yarn. Tested yarns were made according to pneumatic interlacing technique. The technological parameters: air pressure and the rate of yarn forming were varied. The experiment consisted in forming component yarns containing components of rotor cotton yarns. Hairiness results were analyzed in terms of the influence of the above, technological factors and the structure of used staple feed yarn.

The paper presents results of tests and evaluation of linear mass unevenness occurring in staple-filament component yarns pneumatically linked. Linear mass unevenness is presented in relation to selected parameters of technological process - the rate of yarn linking process and the pressure of air fed to nozzle and in relation to the kind of structure of applied component of staple fibres.

Introduce the principles of the work of pneumatic splicing devices joining the broken ends of the yarn during the winding process and the effort of the explanation of phenomena drawing ahead during the case itself of splicing was undertaken. Undertaken subject matter brought more closer on the basis of the analysis of the literature of the object and considerations of the authors of the article.
