Podjęte badania dotyczyły określenia cieplnego stanu pracy wielootworowej kadzi pośredniej, stosowanej w hutnictwie krajowym. W prezentowanej pracy przedstawiono wyniki pomiarów i symulacje numeryczne określające temperaturę stali w kadzi w trakcie procesu ciągłego odlewania stali. Pomiarów temperatury stali dokonano w dwojaki sposób: poprzez pomiary kontrolne oraz pomiar ciągły w trakcie sekwencji wy topowej. Wyniki pomiarów eksperymentalnych oraz symulacji numerycznej wykazały poszerzoną wiedzę na temat warunków termicznych panujących w kadzi podczas sekwencyjnego odlewania stali, umożliwiającą prognozowanie i sterowanie stanem cieplnym analizowanego obiektu.

The undertaken studies concerned the determination of thermal state of the multi-way tundish used in the domestic steelmaking industry. This paper presents the results of measurements and numerical simulations to determine temperature of steel in the tundish during the continuous casting of steel. The steel temperature measurements were taken in two ways: by control measurements and by continuous measurement during the melting sequence. The results of experimental measurements and numerical simulation revealed the extended knowledge of thermal conditions in the tundish during the sequential casting of steel, which the knowledge guarantees forecasting and control of thermal state of the object under analyses.
