In the flow of dilute high-weight polymer solutions in channels of variable cross-section elastic turbulence occurs at low Reynolds number increase of hydraulic resistance by several times in comparison with water is found. And viscosity of а solution only by 10-20% exceeds viscosity of water. This phenomenon is connected to appearance of elastic turbulence. On bulk models this phenomenon was studied by James and McLaren (1978), in channels of variable section — Kalashnikov V.N. (1987). We had conducted experiments in plane and bulk models of variable cross-section and in the complex structure of channels representing the cut of oil-bearing rock. А visual examination of the flow field was realized. The increase in hydraulic resistance in аll types of flow is revealed at low Reynolds number. Pulsations of structure of а flow with frequency of 5-10 Hz are discovered. Competent use of modes with elastic turbulenсе will allow to essentially raise the еfficiency of water-flooding in oi1 recovery.
