The paper contains data regarding the structural alternation of the material, the shape errors which appear and the roughness state of the bearing rings' surfaces obtained through the cold rolling proceeding to SC Rulmenti SA Barlad from Romania. We also present the simulation of the material's deformation in the 2D variant considering the directed flow on two directions. The cold plastic deformations gain advantage before the chip removal processings in the field of machine making, and that is why the present research refers to the throttling of the bearing rings, a modern proceeding, also applied recently in the mechanical engineering industry in Romania.
