Investigated aluminosilicate glasses doped with Fe2O3 represented glasses coming from known solid residues. Obtained melts showed short processing range and required relative high melting and conditioning temperatures. As the most suitable forming method the rolling of plates was suggested. Higher surface temperature of products allows the use of additional modifications. To obtain the invert material the devitrification treatment was applied. All the glasses showed a good crystalization tendency with the formation of pyroxene. Due to obtained results the manufacture of glass-ceramic roofing or wall plates from waste row materials can be achieved. Low costs and availability of the row material, as well as complete recyclability of such products make them very attractive from the economical point of view.
