Rozwój budownictwa wysokiego przyczynił się do opracowania ścian osłonowych, które charakteryzują się coraz lepszymi parametrami technicznymi zapewniającymi komfort termiczny, akustyczny, dostęp światła naturalnego oraz bardzo dobrą jakość powietrza we wnętrzu. Istotną rolę odgrywają fasady podwójne. W artykule przedstawiono zagadnienia wentylacji naturalnej w budynkach wysokich, w których zastosowano tego typu ściany osłonowe. Rozważono również wpływ atrium wewnętrznego na efektywność wentylacji naturalnej.

The development of high-rise construction contributes to the development of curtain walls, which are characterized by better and better technical parameters ensuring thermal comfort, acoustic comfort, access to daylight and high air quality. Double façades play an important role in this respect. The article presents the issues of natural ventilation in high-rise buildings where curtain walls of this type are used. The impact of the internal atrium on the effectiveness of natural ventilation was also considered.

There are 31,500 golf courses around the world. Each golf object is built with stable elements which create it's construction, landscape and character, and water reservoirs are their necessary part. Water reservoirs on a golf course fulfill vital ecological, aesthetical, economical and psychological functions. Golf courses are mainly created within close range of urbanized areas or directly in the city structure. That is the reason why the functions of water reservoirs need to be considerate not only in the scale of golf courses.

The article deals with research on the influence of native rock material - sandstone, on the cultural form of the landscape of villages in Lower Silesia. Red sandstone, thanks to its university, found in the considered area - Kłodzko region, is widely used, it is present not only in buildings, details or sculpture, but due to the complex geological structure of this region it is also present in the landscape in a natural form and is without doubt its inseparable part. The intensive red colour of the stone decisively distincts this region of Poland neighbour region and gives it a specific character.
