Artykuł ma na celu przedstawienie wybranych zagadnień związanych z występowaniem powodzi w rejonie Frankfurtu nad Odrą i Słubic. W aspekcie historycznym przedstawiono genezę rozwoju doliny Odry i koryta rzecznego na przestrzeni ostatnich tysiącleci. Ukazano także wezbrania powodziowe od XVIII - XXI w., wpływ fali powodziowej i miejsca uszkodzeń obwałowań.

The aim of this article present is selected issues relating with floods near Frankfurt Oder and Słubice. In the historical aspect present is genesis development in the Odra valley and riverbed over the last millennia. Also presented is floods since XVIII - XXI century, their influence and places of failures.

The aim of this article is to present the results of statistical analyses of laboratory experiment results obtained from an ITB ZW-K2 apparatus, Kamieński tubes and grain-size distribution curves. Beside basic statistical parameters (mean, sum, minimum and maximum), correlation analysis and multivariate analysis of variance at significance levels ? < 0.01 and ? < 0.05 were taken into account, as well as calculations of LSD confidence half-intervals. The research material was collected from the valley of the Odra river near the town of Słubice in Lubuskie province. The research involved mineral, non-rock fine-grained, non-cohesive soils lying at the depth of 0.3-1.5 m.

Jednoznaczne wyznaczenie współczynnika filtracji gruntu za pomocą wyłącznie jednej metody i praktyczne wykorzystanie wyników badań do celów inżynierskich, jest procesem niezwykle trudnym i może przysporzyć użytkownikowi obiektu budowlanego mnóstwo poważnych problemów oraz konsekwencji prawnych. Dlatego podjęto próbę zmierzającą do określanie wartości współczynnika filtracji gruntów metodami polowymi i laboratoryjnymi.

Explicit appointing the rate of permeability coefficient of ground behind the help of exclusively one method and practical using results for engineering destinations, is an unusually difficult process and can for the user a plenty serious problems of the building object and legal consequences. Therefore an aiming attempt was taken to appointing the values of permeability coefficient of ground with field and laboratory methods.

Przedmiotem artykułu jest ukazanie środowiska hydrogeologicznego w aspekcie ujmowania i ochrony wód podziemnych na terenie gmin Górzyca, Ośno Lubuskie i Słubice w powiecie Słubice. Praca obejmuje szereg zagadnień: morfologię terenu, hydrografię, budowę geologiczną, eksploatacje i ochronę ujęć wód podziemnych oraz zmianę jakości wody podziemnej w różnych okresach i w poszczególnych miejscowościach. Na podstawie zebranych materiałów archiwalnych, dokumentacji hydrogeologicznych, danych dotyczących eksploatacji ujęć wód podziemnych oraz szeregu innych materiałów źródłowych pochodzących z okresu 1912-2002 r. dokonano szeregu analiz, które zestawiono w tabelach i wykresach. Zrealizowano również plan własnych badań i pomiarów terenowych środowiska gruntowo-wodnego w okresie VII 2002 - II 2003 r. Podjęta próba, polegająca na przedstawieniu zagadnień tematycznych przyniosła wymierne korzyści w postaci m.in.: opracowania przekrojów hydrogeologicznych obszaru badań i mapy hydroizohips czwartorzędowego poziomu wodonośnego.

Portraying the hydrogeologic environment in the aspect of taking hold and protections of underground waters are a subject of the paper serving at targets existence-economic on the land of administrative districts Górzyca, Osno Lubuskie and Słubice into the composition of the district of Słubicki. Paper with one's scope includes the number of problems having begun from the morphology of the land, the hydrography, the geological structure through the exploitation, the protection of underground water intakes and the change of the quality of the underground water in different period of times in individual towns. Of archive materials on the base collected, hydrogeologic documentation, the size of the exploitation of underground water intakes and the row of different source materials originating from period 1912-2002 of the sequence of analyses, tabulations, graphs and the illustration how a plan of own examinations and field measurements of the ground water environment was also executed in the period July 2002 - February 2003. The taken attempt consisting in presenting thematic problems brought notable benefits in the form among others: of creating hydrogeological section of the area of examinations and the groundwater contour map of the Quaternary water-bearing level.
