The evolution of the modem ring spinning frame, like of most other textile machines, bas been stimulated by experiment rather than theoretical analysis. That is why the efforts made to develop mathematical models of the dynamics of the main working systems of the machine, as well as relevant computer programs to simulate their operation, are so important a step towards more perfect engineering. The present work is an attempt at theoretical analysis of the twisting-and-winding system of a ring spinning frarne of whieh the technical characteristics are presented in Fig. 1.1.
