Thermo-optic effects in solid state lasers end-pumped by fiber coupled diodes

Review of thermo-optic effects in gain media of diode pumped lasers is presented. Methods of modelling and compensation of such effects are discussed. Results of characterization of end-pumped lasers by means of energetic and caustics measurement techniques are presented and discussed. Also application of Wigner distribution method for characterization of aberrated laser beams is discussed. Thermally induced astigmatism was observed for the anisotropic rods at high heat load.

The slit scan method was implemented for registration of intensity profiles along the caustics of a laser beam. The inverse Radon transform of spatialy normalized intensity profiles enables direct computation of Wigner transform of real laser beam. The Rayleigh range, divergence angle, beam quality factor, global degree of coherence can be determined in such a simple way. A procedure enabling derivation of the shape of aberrated wavefornt and spherical aberration content was elaborated. This method was applied for investigation of the aberrated laser beams generated by cw and pulsed diode pumped laser.

Specify of legislative system, financial aspects, variety of realized functions, size of the estate and the influence of surrounding on economy, were the main factors, which had an influence on the implementation of the information System of State Forests (SILP) created especially for STATE FORESTS. Implementation of integrated Information System of State Forests (SILP), found out tobe a success. Nowadays the SILP functions on the all levels of management of State Forest. SILP has the connection with internet web. What is more the independent extensive web (WAN) is being extended. It is being modyficated and adjusted to need conditions of STATE FOREST that are still changing. The author of this article describes, the Information System of State Forests (SILP), the function of SILP in management of state forests.

The aim of the paper was to show the way of granting the basic Medical Service. Analysis an survey indicate negative views for future. To avoid negative aspects, the new system of granting should be created, instead of remodeling the present one. That would be the best way to solve the most difficult and important problems with profits for society.
