Physical activity is an inseparable sphere of human life, and is not rarely associated with work. Evolution has adapted man to perform various activities that meet their life needs. Man is created for walking, sitting, lying and standing. All these activities should take place in turns. Physical work should be varied in terms of dynamics and not limit people to stay in one position while performing work. The position changes, among others, to increase blood pressure, in addition, stimulates the heart and respiratory system, as well as improves the efficiency of both physical and mental work. In turn, taking only one position for a long time, which often occurs in static physical work, causes many health problems. For musculoskeletal disorders related to a non-ergonomic work position and a forced position at work, every fourth employee in Europe complains. In Poland, musculoskeletal disorders are one of the most common causes of absence at work. In Polish enterprises, the assumption that profit is the most important is still dominant. Man is rarely seen as the most important capital of an enterprise that needs to be taken care of. For many employers, all additional measures related to shaping safe working conditions are only costs, not investment and potential profit. This paper presents the effects of static physical work in relation to work safety in the light of publicly available reports and information. The review has been enriched with the results of research carried out in one of the production enterprises of the SMEs sector. The research results presented in the paper are pilot and constitute an introduction to a large research work.

W rozdziale dokonano analizy potrzeby szkoleń specjalistycznych wśród pracowników służby zdrowia – lekarzy, pielęgniarek, personelu pomocniczego. Pracownicy służby zdrowia oprócz umiejętności i klasyfikacji wynikających z uprawianego zawodu powinni posiadać umiejętności, które podnoszą komfort pracy, zwłaszcza jeśli chodzi o kontakt z pacjentem.

The chapter analyzes the need for specialist training among healthcare professionals - doctors, nurses, support staff. In addition to skills and classifications resulting from the profession, health professionals should have skills that improve the comfort of work, especially when it comes to contact with the patient. Very often, health care workers do not have so-called "soft" skills that facilitate working in stressful conditions between the employees themselves as well as employees and patients. The Chief Medical Chamber has in its educational package, various types of training. However, there are a lack of those that would help healthcare professionals identify risks from the group of psychosocial occupational hazards and indicate how to deal with them. The chapter presents the results of a survey conducted among employees of Silesian health care institutions, which concerned respondents' opinions on the needs of additional and specialist training for health professionals.

Work in a special school as a supportive teacher of disabled children requires experience and mental resilience. The supportive teacher is exposed to a whole range of difficult behaviors of the child (i.e. psychosocial risks), including aggression, which brings many other threats with a dangerous nature (accidental). In this paper the results of research conducted among supportive teachers from one of the Polish special schools have been presented. The research contains the identification of psychosocial risks and, as a consequence, indications of ailments observed by the supportive teachers. The results of the conducted survey concern the type of threats with particular emphasis on psychosocial risks, as well as preventive activities that minimize the effects of these threats. In addition, the respondents indicated the extent of professional work on private and family life. The research tool used in this study is a questionnaire divided into three parts: hazard identification, assessment of psychosocial risks and potential effects of their occurrence, and subjective assessment of the impact of professional work on private life.
