The main theme of the paper is using of thermal camera to measure temperatures in electrical engineering. First the physical principles of heat transfer are mentioned. Then the thesis deals with methods of determining the correct emissivity of the measured object and in the next point with sensors designed for sensing infrared radiation. There is also part dedicated to evaluation software Report Sat Standard, which was used to evaluate pictures taken with thermal camera SAT-HY 6800. Part of this work is the measurement of the EC motor thermal imager, which took place in the electric company ATAS Nachod. Attachment to this paper is animation of EC motor created in Autodesk Inventor.

This paper deals with 3D scanning in power electrical engineering. Specifically, using a scanner company Z800 Z-Corporation. This scanner was used to diagnose the structure of the electric machine coil. After taking all necessary steps to create 3D models from scanned data the model was obtained. This model was compared with the model that was created in one of modern CAD systems. This model made for the primary model for the production of measured coil. The variations in the construction of a coil were identified. Subsequent analysis identified the causes of changes in dimensions.

The starting system means a starter, electromagnetic switch, and storage battery.

The Czech automotive industry presents its product to the car market segment: a starter of a unique AXIAL concept developed with the aid of purpose support from the Ministry of Industry and Trade, with a power of 1.3 kW and 2 kW, - the switch in one axis with the pinion, planet reducer and motor rotor. The starter uses excitation by NdFeB-based permanent magnets.

The paper deals with utilization of infrared camera for temperature measurement of electrical machines. There is described the non-contact temperature measuring, and principle of sensors that evaluate quantity of incident infrared radiation. In the next part there is thermovision camera SAT-HY 6800 presented and the instructional manual for SAT Report computer programme created. This computer programme is used for analyzing of thermovision pictures from the SAT-HY 6800 thermovison camera. The paper contains description of temperature measuring of one-phase asynchronous motor type J22TO484. The last part of the thesis describes creation of animation of one-phase asynchronous motor type J22TO455. The animation is created in 3ds Max computer programme. The results and animation would be used either as addition in daily studies or as the replace of tutorial in combined form of study.

The aim of the article is to describe the virtual laboratory of power electrical, which has been created on UVEE FEKT within project EDIPE or within some student thesis. The paper contains descriptions of possibilities creating virtual laboratory, the model for them and next evolution too. Virtual laboratory would be used either as supplement in daily studies or as the replace in combined form of study.

One major aspects for determining a starter motor characteristics are combustion engine resistance torque on starting, minimal starting speed and battery parameters. The presented work describes method for determining of starting parameters for some engines - for example Skoda, Zetor, etc.

Głównymi czynnikami określającymi charakterystyki rozruszników samochodowych są: moment oporu silników spalinowych, minimalna prędkość rozruchowa oraz parametry baterii akumulatorów. Przedstawiona praca opisuje metodę określenia parametrów rozruchowych dla kilku silników, np. Skoda, Zetor.

In the paper two parameter estimation methods of the induction machine model has been developed. The first method is based on the processing of static operating characteristics namely torque, phase current and power factor as a function of the slip .The second method is based on the measurement of frequency dependent impedance of the machines with blocked rotor. Exemplary results for the induction motors of the 132 kW and 1.1 kW are presented.
