W publikacji scharakteryzowano projekt DIOFUR - realizowany w ramach 6 Programu Ramowego Unii Europejskiej. Celem projektu jest zbadanie emisji dioksyn w odlewniach, wskazanie źródeł ich powstawania oraz skuteczne ograniczenie emisji w celu ochrony środowiska. Koordynatorem projektu jest hiszpański INASMET W skład konsorcjum wchodzą przodujące instytuty, stowarzyszenia oraz odlewnie europejskie. Polskę reprezentują Odlewnicza Izba Gospodarcza w Krakowie, Instytut Odlewnictwa w Krakowie oraz Zakłady Metalurgiczne "POMET" z Poznania. W artykule przedstawiono założenia realizowanego projektu o akronimie DIOFUR, oraz cele jakie stoją przed Konsorcjum. Zgodnie z założeniami projektu jego uczestnicy będą dążyć do osiągnięcia poziomu emisji dioksyn poniżej 0,5 ng TEQ/Nm3 przy wykorzystaniu zabiegów zarówno organizacyjnych (np. segregacja złomu) jak i technicznych (np. filtry węglowe). Redukcja do poziomu poniżej 0,1 ng TEQ/Nm3, który jest wartością referencyjną zalecaną przez BREF - IPPC, jest drugim celem projektu możliwym do osiągnięcia w małych urządzeniach po zastosowaniu nowych technik wychwytywania dioksyn.

In the article the project DIOFUR, being realized as a part of the 6. EU Framework Programme, is characterized. The aim of the Project is the investigation of the dioxin emission in foundries, indication of the sources of their generation and effective limitation of the emission for environment protection. The Project is coordinated by the Spanish institute INASMET. Into the consortium there are included the leading institutes, associations and european foundries. Poland is represented here by the Foundry Commerce Chamber in Cracow, Foundry Institute in Cracow and Metallurgical Works POMET in Poznań. In the article assumptions of the DIOFUR-Programme as well as the aims the consortium would like to achieve are presented. According to the Project's assumptions its participants will aim to gain the level of dioxin's emission below 0.5 ng TEQ/Nm3 by using the organizational (e.g. scrap selection) as well as technical (e.g. using carbone filters) measures. The emission reduction under 0.1 ng TEQ/Nm3 , being the reference value recommended by BREF-IPPC, is another aim of the Project, possible to obtain in small facilities, after implementation of the new techniques of snatching dioxins.

W artykule opisano Misję Gospodarczą zorganizowaną przez Odlewniczą Izbę Gospodarczą w maju 2006 r. w związku z targami METEF w Brescii. Przedstawiciele przedsiębiorstw zrzeszonych w OIG wzięli udział w targach METEF w Brescii, we Włoszech, promując działalność swoich firm oraz uczestnicząc w konferencjach poruszających tematy z zakresu odlewnictwa metali nieżelaznych.

In the paper the Economic Mission in relation to the Trade Fair METEF organized in May 2006 by the Foundry Chamber of Commerce (OIG) was described. The representatives of the firms associated in OIG participated in the Trade Fair METEF in Brescia (Italy) promoting there their activities and attending conferences on the subject of the foundry problems of nonferrous metals.

Artykuł jest sprawozdaniem z Międzynarodowych Targów Odlewniczych FONDEX, które odbyły się w dniach 18-21 maja br. w Brnie. Artykuł zawiera wypowiedzi przedstawicieli polskich przedsiębiorstw, które prezentowały swoje osiągnięcia na Targach FONDEX oraz ich spostrzeżenia i wrażenia ze spotkań z potencjalnymi kontrahentami, plany co do zakresu uczestnictwa w kolejnej edycji targów.

The article is a report on the International Foundry Fair FONDEX, which has taken place on 18-21 May 2004 in Brno. In the article the pronoucements of the representatives of polish companies which presented their achievements on the Fair FONDEX as well as their observation and impressions from meetings with potential contractors and their plans regarding the scope of the participation in the next edition of the Fair were placed.
