Artykuł jest próbą rekonstrukcji współrzędnych tożsamości narodowej Polaków na podstawie przekazów „Gazety Wyborczej” oraz „Naszego Dziennika” po katastrofie samolotu prezydenckiego pod Smoleńskiem. Analiza artykułów zamieszczanych w tychże dziennikach w tygodniu żałoby narodowej ma odsłonić te wytwory kulturowe, miejsca pamięci, wzorce postępowania, o których – w przekonaniu ich redakcji – członkowie społeczeństwa polskiego wiedzieć coś powinni, które powinni popierać, uznawać i realizować.

This article is an attempt to reconstruct the main indicators of the national identity of the Polish people. To explore the given problem the articles published in Gazeta Wyborcza and Nasz Dziennik after the Smolensk air disaster have been analysed. The aim is to reveal the vision of what, as implied, constitutes the national identity, e.g. the not explicitly outlined relevance of specific cultural artifacts or patterns of behaviour.

In the years 2003-2005 in the Lamkowko Satellite Observatory a measuring well equipped with a measuring float was establisshed. This measurement instrument was constructed jointly with Space Research Center of Polish Academy of Sciences. The measuring system enables to detect precisely changes in the level of ground water. The changes in the water level are measured with the accuracy better than 0.1 mm. the obtained accuracy of measuring allows to detect several phenomena: meteorological ones, geodynamics one4s, Earth tides. In this paper, the preliminary results of the first time series of changes of changes in the level of ground water are presented. The time series of these measurements, utilized in this study, cover only 4 months (from January to April 2006). Preliminary results enable to detect diurnal and semidiurnal oscillations.

Content available remote Participation of Lamkowko satellite observatory in ionospheric researches

The ionospheric studies have been carried since 1995 by Institute of Geodesy Warmia and Mazury University in Olsztyn jointly with West Department of the IZMIRAN of the Rnssian Academy of the Sciences in Kaliningrad. GPS measurements from 100 European EPN/IGS permanent stations were used to monitor the ionospheric effects of geomagnetic storms. A series of ionosphere maps were produced to present the spatial distribution of TEC. The dense network of GPS stations in Europe allows to obtain high spatial and temporal resolution of TEC. Our estimation technique provided TEC maps with 15min interval and with a spatial resolution of 150-350 km. As the examples we analysed geomagnetic disturbances, which occurred during the months of September 1999 and March 2001. It was found that the storm essentially modified the ionosphere. During the storm the large and medium-seale irregularities were detected in the high-Iatitude ionosphere as well as at middle latitudes. The deep spatial TEC changes were caused by oceurrence of the main ionospheric trough, which during the storm moved in the direction of the Equator (to latitude of about 50 st. N).

Content available remote Influence of ionospheric storm on positioning precision

In the paper results of analysis of the influence of ionospheric storm on positioning precision are presented. The analysis rely on studying of repeatability of vectors` coordinates. Different vector lengths (250 km-1300km) were studied. These vectors were investigated during the ionospheric storms.The permanent observations from IGS/EUREFstations were analysed. Those stations connect Borowiec, Borowa Góra, Lamkowo, Onsala, Mendeleevo, Kotwijk, Matera and Metsahovi. Their latitudes range from 41(st.)N to 60 (st.)N. Software Bernese ver. 4.0 was used for the analysis of observational data of the six and twelve-hours sessions. Results were refered to those otained from 24-hours sessions.

W artykule przedstawiono technologie wytwarzania przędz mieszankowych bawełna/konopie o masach liniowych 25-40 tex oraz przędz bawełna/wiskoza/konopie i bawełna/poliakrylonitryl/konopie 25 tex. Przędze formowano na przędzarce rotorowej BD 200 RCE. Udział konopi w przędzach mieszankowych wynosił od 10 do 20%. Podano szczegółową analizę parametrów badanych przędz.

The new technology of blended yarns made from cotton/hemp 25-40 tex as well as yarns 25 tex made from cotton/viscose/hemp and cotton/acryl hemp were presented in the article. Blended yarns contain from 10 to 20 % of hemp fibres. Yarns were formed on the rotor spinning machine BD 200 RCE. Analysis of quality parameters of all tested yarns were given.

GPS measurements carried out by European stations were used for the analysis of the spatial correlation of the ionosphere during the intensive magnetic storm of 22-23 November 1997. The estimation of correlation was performed by comparison the absolute TEC (Total Electron Content) to the ionospheric Doppler shift variations for individual satellite passes at different stations. The maximum distance between stations amounted up to 1500 km and minimum about 20 km. It is shown that the spatial correlation of the TEC variations is worse during the storm. It essentially depends on the presence of the traveling ionospheric disturbances (TID's) in the ionosphere. The coherent length is determined with the horizontal scale of the TID's. During the storm the large-scale TID's prevailed. Correlation of the Doppler variations depends on large-scale TID's (LSTID) as well as on medium-scale TID's (MSTID). We found that during the storm not only the amplitude of MSTID's increases as well as the spatial sizes too. The residual ionospheric delay attributed to MSTID's increases by factor 2-3 and it makes up 0.5 m during the storm. The expand of horizontal size of MSTID can cause the increase of the correlation at residual delay during the storm.
