Modernization of radial compressor collector "H.Cegielski-Poznan" firm has been done with the purpose to reduce noise during its work. The changes of collector flowing part were designed according to distributing of speeds which were exposed by the method of visual diagnostics of flow structure simulations in the physical models of collector. The tests results on the stand of «НСР» has shown the reduction of noise during work of compressor DA-210 from 86 - 96 to 82 - 84dB, at the same time the efficiency of work was increase up to 2,3%.
