The article describes the standardized solution of safety, fire - protection cross passages in tunnels. It provides the principles of designing of such passages, discusses the rules of the evacuation of passengers, identifies international legal regulations and presents a solution in this regard offerce by Zitron Company.

We exhibit new examples of weakly compact strictly singular operators with dual not strictly cosingular and characterize the weakly compact strictly singular surjections with strictly cosingular adjoint as those having strictly singular bitranspose. We then obtain new examples of super-strictly singular quotient maps and show that the strictly singular quotient maps in Kalton–Peck sequences are not super-strictly singular.

Among these transport infrastructures, road and railway tunnels and Metro lines are the most significant ones. The amazing improvements and fast growing technology in mechanized tunnel excavation with TBM (Tunnel Boring Machine) has made possible the excavation of tunnels with several tens of kilometers. This is a serious challenge in front of us, in order to provide safe and efficient solutions to new and complex problems related to the passenger's safety in these very long transport tunnels. This paper is a general approach to the new technologies that are being currently applied for the design and optimization of tunnel ventilation systems.

Tunele drogowe i kolejowe oraz linie metra stanowią najbardziej istotne elementy infrastruktury transportowej. Szybko rozwija się technologia zmechanizowanego drążenia tuneli z zastosowaniem TBM. W związku z tym konieczne są usprawnienia technologii systemów wentylacyjnych, wynikających z obowiązku zapewnienia bezpieczeństwa budowniczym jak i przyszłym użytkownikom coraz dłuższych tuneli komunikacyjnych. W artykule przedstawiono ogólne podejście do nowych technologii stosowanych w projektowaniu i optymalizacji rozwiązań systemów wentylacji tuneli.
