System telemetryczny CST-40 przeznaczony jest do ciągłej kontroli i rejestracji parametrów związanych z bezpieczeństwem kopalń w zakresie zagrożeń metanowych i pożarowych. W skład jego wchodzi Centrala Systemu Telemetrycznego CST-40 i urządzenia dołowe (czujniki, urządzenia wyłączające energię). Czujniki współpracujące z centralą zasilane są z powierzchni. Zaletą systemu jest możliwość podłączenia do niego oprócz czujników o pomiarze ciągłym również czujników współpracujących z centralami pracującymi już w polskich kopalniach bez dodatkowej adaptacji.

The CST-40 telemetry system is designed for continuous monitoring and recording of parameters related to mine safety within the range of methane and fire hazards. The system comprises a central station and underground equipment (sen-sors, devices for power switching-off). The sensors that operate together with the station are powered from the surface. An advantage of the system is a possible connection to it not only of the sensors of continuous operation but also of those that operate with the stations that have been operating at Polish mines without additional adjustment.

Iskrobezpieczne zasilacze lokalne oraz zasilacze współpracujące z linią przesyłową powinny w sposób gwarantowany przekazywać energię elektryczną do kopalnianych systemów telekomunikacyjnych i tele-metrycznych oraz zapewniać iskrobezpieczeństwo swego obwodu wyjściowego we wszystkich warunkach pracy zarówno określonych jak i losowych. Zasilacz (system zasilania) realizujący w taki sposób zasilanie urządzeń kopalnianych może być klasyfikowany jako zasi-lacz z cechami sztucznęj inteligencji. Przedstawiono sposoby realizacji strukturalnej takich zasilaczy i systemów zasilania.

Intrinsically-safe local supply units and those co-operating with transmission line should, in a warranted way, transmit electric energy to mine telecommunication and telemetry systems and ensure intrinsic safety of their output circuits under any operation conditions, both the determinate and random ones. The supply unit (power supply system) which performs power supply of mine eqipment in such a way can be specified as a unit with character-istic of artificial intelligence. The methods of structure realization of these supply units and systems are presented.
