Study of electrical resistance of rocks as a function of pressure and temperature is a part of the general problem on physical properties of substance of the deep earths entrails. It is known that there are active and inert media in entrails of the earth which influence electrical resistance of rocks in different ways. Results of the experimental study of electric resistanceof granites of Uzbekistan under high temperatures in different media are described. The process was studied in the atmospheric air (oxidizing medium) and in argon (inert medium).
