In this paper, an exploration of the results of agent's experience-based learning of semantic messages generation is presented. It is assumed that the agent is situated in some environment consisting of the atom objects. The agent observes the states of these objects and all the observations are stored in its private database. The agent is equipped with the communication language that makes it possible for an agent to generate modal formulas about the states of objects from external world. If the agent cannot observe the current state of a particular object then the algorithm for the choice of relevant semantic messages is used. This algorithm relates formulas to the internal agent's knowledge states and reflects the process of learning the world structure. An influence of agent's knowledge base changeability and the parameters of an algorithm on external messages generation are presented. Two alternative methods of consensus profile computing and two distance functions are used in this algorithm. A comparison of the results of an algorithm depending on its parameters is given.

In this study an original way of modeling language grounding and generation for a simple set of language responses is presented. It is assumed that the language is used by a cognitive agent and consists of a few modal belief and possibility formulas that are used by this agent to communicate its opinions on the current state of an object. The cognitive agent is asked a simple AND query and the language is tailored to this situation. The agent's knowledge bases are characterized by certain incompleteness of information on the current state of objects. The language of the available responses is originally grounded in the agent's previous empirical experience. According to the assumptions of the cognitive linguistics and the phenomenology of knowledge, this experience is the basic source of meaning represented by the available formulas (responses). In the study the idea of an epistemic satisfaction relation is introduced that describes states of the agent's knowledge in which particular formulas are satisfied in the epistemic sense. Additionally, a formal description of the semantic power of formulas is presented. The concepts of the empirical satisfaction relation and the semantic power of formulas are used to define a model of particular language behavior that preserves the assumption of language grounding. Two examples of possible implementations are given. These implementations are basic ones and refer to statistical characteristics of the stored empirical experience of the cognitive agent.

Przedstawiono strategię udzielania odpowiedzi modalnych przez interaktywny system wspomagania decyzji. Rozpatrzono sytuację niekompletności wiedzy systemu na temat stanu świata (obiektu sterowania), wymuszającą koniecznością generowania odpowiedzi zbudowanych z modalnych operatorów przekonań i możliwości. Przyjęto, że system dysponuje językiem złożonym z modalnych rozszerzeń wybranych formuł i rachunku zdań.

A strategy for the of modal response by an interactive decision support system is presented. The situation of incomplete knowledge of the world (control object) is considered. The response are modal belief and possibility extensions of logic formulas. The strategy has been originally used for communicative cognitive agents and is tailored to model some aspects of information processing in a business organisation. This organisationis treated as a conceptual agent in which particular observations of the world's states are stored in distributed databases. All observations are then re-processed in order to store them in a certain data warehouse from which the responses are extracted. The consensus-based algorithm for the choice of the most relevant response is given.
