In this paper, two sets of multisine signals are designed for system identification purposes. The first one is obtained without any information about system dynamics. In the second case, the a priori information is given in terms of dimensional stability and control derivatives. Magnitude Bode plots are obtained to design the multisine power spectrum that is optimized afterwards. A genetic algorithm with linear ranking, uniform crossover and mutation operator has been employed for that purpose. Both designed manoeuvres are used to excite the aircraft model, and then system identification is performed. The estimated parameters are obtained by applying two methods: Equation Error and Output Error. The comparison of both investigated cases in terms of accuracy and manoeuvre time is presented afterwards.

Content available Output Error Method for Tiltrotor Unstable in Hover

This article investigates unstable tiltrotor in hover system identification from flight test data. The aircraft dynamics was described by a linear model defined in Body-Fixed-Coordinate System. Output Error Method was selected in order to obtain stability and control derivatives in lateral motion. For estimating model parameters both time and frequency domain formulations were applied. To improve the system identification performed in the time domain, a stabilization matrix was included for evaluating the states. In the end, estimates obtained from various Output Error Method formulations were compared in terms of parameters accuracy and time histories. Evaluations were performed in MATLAB R2009b environment.

Content available Infrasound and low frequency noise of a wind turbine

The paper presents noise evaluation for a 2 MW wind turbine. The obtained results have been analyzed with regard to infrasound and low frequency noise generated during work of the wind turbine. The evaluation was based on standards and decrees binding in Poland. The paper presents also current literature data on the influence of the infrasound and low frequency noise on a human being. It has been concluded, that the permissible levels of infrasound for the investigated wind turbine were not exceeded.

The study of vibroacoustic properties of small wind turbines with a vertical axis laboratory test conditions used in the form of an anechoic chamber in the Acoustics Laboratory, Institute of Energy, Department of Heat in. Anechoic chamber design allowed the installation of a duct through which the airflow is adjusted by means of a centrifugal fan mounted at the inlet of the waveguide. The paper presents the identification of the acoustic parameters of acoustic small wind turbines with a vertical axis comprising: a) determination of sound power levels for different classes of frequency characteristics and test wind turbines work b) identification of the components of the spectrum frequency - amplitude associated mainly with turbine speeds and frequencies of their own, such as duct The result of research was to obtain input data to define a more dedicated to the identification of measurement noise and vibration characteristics of wind turbines such as the efficiency of vibroacoustic, cepstrum analysis or dimensional analysis.

This report shows the purpose of research undertaken to define occurrences of Vertical Axis Wind Turbines (VAWT). A true threat for natural energy resources depletion, legal requirement for obtaining 7.5% electric energy from renewable sources till 2010, easy installation of vertical axis wind turbines, resistance to high wind speeds, level of knowledge on determining wind energy efficiency factors using two-dimensional discussion (Betz’s law – one-dimensional discussion) and likelihood low-frequency characteristics of acoustic spectral of turbine in operation have all become a motive for starting identification research and its accompanying occurrences of VAWT in operation.

Identyfikacja i minimalizacja zjawisk WA1, z naciskiem na stronę akustyczną, podczas produkcji płyt warstwowych to zasadniczy temat niniejszego opracowania. Jego celem było rozpoznanie zjawisk i procesów WA tej technologii oraz wykonanie konkretnych projektów ich redukcji. Motywacją podjęcia problemu była konieczność zredukowania nadmiernego hałasu panującego w hali przemysłowej oraz poprawa efektywności pracy na linii produkcyjnej. W rezultacie powstało szczegółowe opracowanie projektów redukcji hałasu na linii produkcyjnej płyt warstwowych, projekt obudowy dźwiękochłonnej z doborem materiałów izolacyjnych i tłumiących hałas w hali.

The identification and minimization of Vibroacoustic (VA) phenomena (noise and vibration), during production process of composite panels is the principal goal of this work. Its objective is to familiarize with the noise and vibration associated with this production process and to prepare specific design for noise and vibration reduction. The motives of taking the problem is to reduce the amount of noise in the factory and to improve the efficiency of work on production line. The direct effect of this study was the preparation of noise reduction enclosure for some noisy elements of assembly lines, selection of acoustic absorption materials for noise attenuation, and the design of its distribution in a factory room.
