In work a task is considered about research of the initial stage of origin of destructions near similar on cracks defects in plates. Researches are conducted on the elliptic opening on the basis of study of maximal tensions which arise up on his border. For the prolate openings simple asymptotes formulas are got for determination of maximal tensions and angles of slope of planes which they are achieved on. Research of directions of distribution of regional cracks is executed near the elliptic openings on the basis of power criterion destructions the result of which well conforms to the found directions of location of grounds with maximal tensions.
