We investigate the third Hankel determinant problem for some starlike functions in the open unit disc, that are related to shell-like curves and connected with Fibonacci numbers. For this, firstly, we prove a conjecture, posed in [17], for sharp upper bound of second Hankel determinant. In the sequel, we obtain another sharp coefficient bound which we apply in solving the problem of the third Hankel determinant for these functions.

W artykule przedstawiono znaczenie i aktualny stan funkcjonującego na obszarze Berlina i Brandenburgii Związku Komunikacyjnego (Verkehrsverbund Berlin-Brandenburg, VBB). Skoncentrowano się na problemie niwelowania barier poprzez wdrażanie innowacji w transporcie miejskim pasażerów o ograniczonej mobilności, a więc niepełnosprawnych, ale także starszych, kobiet w ciąży, osób z małymi dziećmi, dużym bagażem czy też otyłych. Innowacje te służyć mają nie tylko zwykłemu zwiększaniu dostępności transportu miejskiego dla tych grup użytkowników, ale poszanowaniu ich praw człowieka do godnego życia. Praktyczne rozwiązania przedstawiono na przykładzie miasta Berlin, w którym średnio dziennie z usług transportu miejskiego korzysta aż 3,8 mln pasażerów.

In the article presents meaning and the current state of functioning in the area Berlin – Brandenburg (Germany) Union of Communication. The article focuses on the problem of eliminating barriers by implementing innovations in public transport for passengers with reduced mobility, such as the disabled, but also older people, pregnant women, people with small children, large luggage or obese. These innovations are intended not only to increase the availability of public transport for these groups of users, but also to respect their human rights to live with dignity. Practical solutions are based on the city of Berlin, with an average of 3.8 million passengers per day on public transport services.

Jednym z największych problemów występujących w przedsiębiorstwach transportu samochodowego są kradzieże paliwa. Niejednokrotnie dochodzi do tego rodzaju zdarzeń regularnie i na dużą skalę. W artykule omówione zostały metody zapobiegania kradzieżom paliwa w przedsiębiorstwach transportowych, oparte na wykorzystaniu różnorodnych rozwiązań technicznych. Uwzględniono dwie zasadnicze grupy tego typu rozwiązań – urządzenia pomiarowe, kontrolujące zużycie paliwa oraz zabezpieczenia antykradzieżowe. Uwypuklono również znaczenie Systemów Zarządzania Flotą. Przedstawione zagadnienia zostały oparte w znacznym stopniu na rezultatach badań, przeprowadzonych w trakcie praktyki w hiszpańskim przedsiębiorstwie Biofutur Truck, zajmującym się sprzedażą urządzeń kontrolujących zużycie paliwa oraz systemów zabezpieczeń antykradzieżowych zbiorników paliwowych.

One of the biggest problems in transport businesses is a fuel theft. Not just once, this kind of event happens regularly and on a large scale. The paper is focused on the methods of preventing theft of fuel in transport companies, based on the use of various technical solutions. Two basic groups of this type of solution are taken into consideration – measuring devices for fuel consumption control and anti-theft protection systems. Additionally, the importance of Fleet Management Systems has been emphasized. These issues were largely based on the results of a study carried out during the practice of the Spanish company Biofutur Truck, which sells fuel consumption control devices and anti-theft protection systems for fuel tanks.

In the present paper we define some classes of meromorphic functions with fixed argument of coefficients. Next we obtain coefficient estimates, distortion theorems, integral means inequalities, the radii of convexity and starlikeness and convolution properties for the defined class of functions.

In this work we consider some integral operators on the special subclasses of the set of analytic functions in the unit disc which are defined by the Hadamard product. Using the univalence criterions, we obtain new sucient conditions for these operators to be univalent in the open unit disk. We give some applications of the main results.

We introduce a certain class H alpha/k (p, lambda;h) of multivalent analytic functions in the open unit disc involving a linear operator L alpha/k. The aim of this paper is to extend the similar concept of many earlier papers. We use techniques of differential subordination and convolution of this class.

Let P(a,n) be the set of all complex polynomials of degree n which have all their roots in the closed unit disk and one fixed root at a, 0 < a < 1. In this paper we show thiat for n > 3 all critical points of the polynomial f(z)= (zn-l+ l)(z - a) lie outside the set K(a,n) consisting of all b such that for some c the polynomial p(z)= (z - b) n - c belongs to P(a,n). Hence we infer that minimal sets satisfying the Sendov property (i.e. containing at least one critical point of each pzawiera P(a, n) ) exist but they are not unique.
