Pursuant to the EN 1991-2 European standard on traffic loads for bridges, adjustment factors equaling 1.00 are to be used during the design phase. Under the standard, such a factor corresponds to international traffic load values with a considerable share of heavy weight vehicles. The minimum value of the CCqi concentrated force factor equals 0.8, while the a^ equal load factor value amounts to not less than 1.00. Results of the analysis presented in the article indicate that the value of adjustment factors provided for in the standard should be higher.
