The computer and the Internet can be treated in two different ways: as an educational subject or as technical measures supporting educational process. They are intermediaries to convey knowledge and skills between a student and a teacher - they take over the functions of a handbook, register the learner’s effects of work, point out to obstacles, are efficient and useful tool to present various kinds of methods and solutions. The Internet and computer are technical means that are particularly useful to manage the process of learning. They are helpful to supervise and evaluate studying and also to revise material with learners. In case of using the Internet and multimedia equipment, the possibilities of education are much greater. The Internet is like a bag without a bottom where an incredible amount of information has been collected. Let's imagine these millions of servers and machines attached to them, all with discs that are loaded with gigabytes of data. The magic of big numbers works: if we assume that each computer is equipped with a 80 GB disc, then how many gigabytes do we have in the whole Internet? Hundreds of millions so hundreds of thousands terabytes - in a very careful estimation. And obviously the net grows every day as the number of computers increases. In consequence an average Internet user becomes more and more lost and helpless. How to find exactly the Information we are looking for in the increasing ocean of information? The computer and Internet teach, entertain, stimulate creativity. On the other hand they have no sense of feeling when the user needs advice and consolation. It is not a pattern to copy such as sensible parents are. The computer like other creations of science and technology belongs to indirect reality objects, which means appearing between a man and nature.

Electronic multimedia tools (television, computer, Internet) play a vital role in a didactic process. In teaching the computer (the Internet) may be treated as a subject to teach or as a technical device supporting didactic process. They are intermediaries in transmitting knowledge and skills between a student and teacher – they take over the function of a handbook, register the effects of learner's work, point out to obstacles, are an efficient and useful tool to present various kinds of methods and solutions. Currently the basic element of studying is student's individual work taking use of microcomputer programs and the Internet. Information technology is a combination of computer science with other cooperative areas and technologies that influence its application in the society. Computer science task is to collect, store, present and use information to communicate between objects, systems and people. The main goal of students' information education is to prepare an individual to use information technologies in private and professional life. If students adopt creative attitudes in the educational process, acquire tools and methods, discover and develop abilities, then they will be able solve real problems in future.
