Completion and Utilization of the Rehabilitated Central Tailing Heap of Jan Šverma Mine in Žacléř

In the article, the authors focus on the continuation of restoration and rehabilitation in the west part of the Central Heap and on the completion of rehabilitation work on the Central Heap, which is connected with the evaluation of subsequent use of rehabilitated land. In [1][2], the results of the first stage of restoration and rehabilitation of the Central Heap of the Jan Šverma Mine in Žacléř with the climax in the year 2009, when 11 hectares of total 18 hectares were grassed down, were already presented. This introductory part was followed by other rehabilitation works focused on reshaping the Heap to create stable slopes with safe slope conditions. Earthworks are described. In connection with the earthworks in the framework of ground shaping, a drainage system was completed and the whole area of interest was grassed; increased attention being paid to adequate irrigation. The utilization of the rehabilitated Central Heap after the completion of rehabilitation by hydroseeding and after the rest period was described.

W artykule autorzy skoncentrowali się na kontynuacji i ukończeniu rekultywacji terenów w zachodniej części centralnej hałdy w połączeniu z oceną przyszłego wykorzystania zrekultywowanego terenu. W [1] i [2] przedstawiono wyniki pierwszego etapu rekultywacji centralnej hałdy kopalni Jan Šverma Mine w Žacléř w czasie kryzysu z roku 2009 kiedy 11 hektarów z ogółu 18 hektarów zostało pokrytych trawą. Część wstępna była następnie kontynuowana na drodze kolejnych prac rekultywacyjnych mających na celu przekształcenie hałdy w celu utworzenia stabilnych, bezpiecznych zboczy. Prace ziemne zostały opisane. W połączeniu z nimi ukończono również system drenażu a cały obszar został pokryty trawą. Kładziono nacisk na odpowiednie nawadnianie. Na koniec opisano zastosowanie zrekultywowanej centralnej hałdy po ukończeniu prac.

W niniejszej pracy autorzy zaznajamiają czytelnika z zakończoną sukcesem odnową Hałdy Centralnej w kopalni Jana Švermy w miejscowości Zacler. Opisana jest tutaj krótko okolica kopalni, a czytelnicy zostają wdrożeni w proces odnowy przeprowadzony przez firmę GEMECUNION, JSC. Opisano w pierwszej kolejności metody odnowy i usprawniania, a następnie proces wprowadzania rekultywacji na hałdzie centralnej głównie poprzez obsiewanie trawą przy użyciu metody hydroobsiewu. Praca zawiera również wyniki próbnego siewu z zastosowaniem różnego rodzaju nawozów oraz kondycjonerów glebowych.

In this contribution the authors make the reader familiar with the successful rehabilitation of the Central Tailing Heap of Jan Šverma Mine in Zacler. The locality of Jan Šverma Mine is described here in brief and readers are also acquainted with the company GEMEC-UNION, JSC carrying out the rehabilitation. At first, restoration and rehabilitation methods and subsequently, the process and implementation of rehabilitation on the Central Heap, namely by grassing, using the hydroseeding method, are described here. The contribution also contains results of trial seeding with applications of various fertilisers and soil conditioners.
