The features of block structure in the creation of oil field hydrodynamic models are discussed. Numerous oil fields are characterized by tectonic faults with different genesis and ranges. The aim of this paper is to study the influence of different faults on the development efficiency of oil fields. The evaluation of the influence of low-permeability and high-permeability faults on oil fields development was obtained.
