Performed analysis of spectral signatures indicates that there is a possibility of discrimination of ACR from other roof coverings. The following optimal wavelengths were determined: 350-450 nm, 555-853 nm 668-790 nm, 911-917 nm, 1000 nm, 1100-1340 nm, 1228-1311 nm, 1669-1725 nm, 1800 nm, 1830-1850 nm, 1925-1935 nm, 2060-2090 nm, 2500 nm, 2500 nm. Results of the undertaken survey may support the selection of the adequate sensor for ACR discrimination, and classification process through the reduction of the number of bands in order to include bands with significant differences in spectral reflection between ACR and other roof coverings.
