W pracy przedstawiono analizę procesu narastania przemieszczeń prowadzącego do utraty stateczności belki stalowo-betonowej. Rozwiązanie przedstawiono dla przekroju mającego jedną oś symetrii prostopadłą do wektora momentu zginającego, obciążonego osiowo stałą wartością siły. Założono też idealne zespolenie stali i betonu bez możliwości wzajemnych poślizgów.

The analysis of the increasing of dislocation process lead to the loss of the stability of the steel-concrete beam was introduced in the work. The solution was introduced for the section possesses one axis of symmetry perpendicular to the vector of bending moment, burdened the axles constant value of strength. Also ideal junction of steel and concrete without the possibility of mutual slides was assumed.

W pracy zaprezentowano fizykę zjawiska przenoszenia masy i energii w płycie betonowej poddanej działaniu podwyższonej temperatury oraz model matematyczny opisujący niniejszy problem. Formułując ten model, autor korzystał z podejścia termodynamicznego, rozważając w nim jednowymiarowy przepływ masy i energii w poszczególnych fazach materiału porowatego. Następnie poprawność tego modelu została skonfrontowana z wynikami literaturowymi oraz doświadczalnymi uzyskanymi przez innych badaczy za pomocą własnego programu komputerowego.

In the presented paper the mathematical model of mass and energy transport within an intensely heated concrete slab were discussed. The mathematical model was using thermodynamics approach was created. There was considered one-dimensional heat and mass flux with separate phases of porous material. Presented model was numerically tested and compared with experimental and theoretical results.

West Polesie Biosphere Reserve was established in April 2002 in an area of 139 000 ha in Łęczyńsko-Włodawskie Lake District in Lublin Voivodeship. Poleski National Park is in the centre of the Reserve, in its western part - the Landscape Park of Łęczyńskie Lake District, and in the east - Sobibor Landscape Park. The main characteristic feature of the Reserve is the fine-mosaic ecological structure of the landscape with numerous lakes, peat bogs, meadows and forests in depressions and patches of fields on higlands of limestone substratum. From the 1950's to the 1980's the area of Łęczyńsko-Włodawskie Lake District was subjected to large scale draining. 61.2 per cent of all marshy grounds were drained. Seven out of sixty- eight lakes have dried up. From the mid-70's the remaining lakes of the Disctrict have been affected by rapidly spreading recreational development of the land. By the end of the 20th century the majority of the lakes made available for recreation had had their tourist carrying capacity exceeded, and, in several cases, it was over fourfold. To prevent degradation of nature, tourist and aesthetic values of the region a number of protective measures have been taken. Initially, in the 60's and 70's, they took the form of conventional local conservation (creation of nature reserves), then, in the 80's, nearly the whole area of Łęczyńsko Włodawskie Lake District was recognised as a part of the regional "Ecological System of Protected Areas". Granting the status of Biosphere Reserves to the whole region by UNESCO has started a new chapter in natural resources management. It is oriented towards revival of degraded areas with simultaneous revitalization of rural settlement, as well as development of agricultural production in harmony with nature. Natural resources management system of the Biosphere Reserve involves four interrelated subsystems: diagnostic, planning, decision-making and control. Both the cooperation of nature protection service with local governments and a holistic approach to all of the components of the landscape are of special importance for these actions. This paper presents the chosen methods and techniques of natural space resources management of the Reserve, which constitute the above mentioned system. Furthermore, it describes the effects of their application.

Przeanalizowano rodzaj i przyczyny uszkodzeń warstwy chromu z uwzględnieniem mikrostruktury i właściwości stali oraz jakości powierzchni podłoża stalowego, na które naniesiono powłokę, jak również wpływ środowiska korozyjnego.

Przeprowadzono badania wpływu obróbki cieplnej na własności mechaniczne i strukturę stopu odlewniczego AlSi9Mg. Badania przeprowadzono na gotowych kołnierzach oraz na próbkach odlewanych. Uzyskane własności mechaniczne stopu Al-Si spełniające wymagania Dansk Standard 3002 pozwoliły na zrealizowanie kontraktu umożliwiającego produkcję eksportową do Danii.

Investigations of influence of heat treatment on mechanical properties and structure of AlSi9Mg casting alloy have been carried out. Investigations have been realized on ready-made flanges and on experimental casted tensile specimens. The obtained mechanical properties of the alloy were complying with requirements of DANSK STANDARD 3002 and let realize the contract export production to Denmark.

Jednocześnie podjęto próbę określenia przyczyny pękania ogniwa produkcji polskiej oraz włoskiej na podstawie przeprowadzonych badań składu chemicznego i właściwości mechanicznych oraz obserwacji metalograficznych makro- i mikroskopowych.

There were examined mechanical properties and the microstructure of the links produced in Poland, Italy and Germany forming a hauling chain of an assembly belt for motor cars. An attempt was made to determine the cause od cracking of Polish-made and Italian-made links on the basis of invetigations of chemical composition nad mechanical properties and also macro- and microskopic metallographic examinations.
