This contribution is oriented to study of friction ratios on contact surfaces of stamping dies. To simulate the friction states the universal friction simulator was applied. Friction ratios on contact surfaces were simulated between flat parallel surfaces and also on curved surface. For experiments the sheets with deep drawing ability DC 05, DX 54D and austenitic stainless steel sheet (DIN 1.4301) were used. Friction coefficient was evaluated by regression analysis for dependence of drawing force on blank-holder force.
