One of the quality indicators of the transport service in passenger transport is the regularity of the movement of vehicles. Apart from the planned traffic intervals, it depends on a number of factors related to the traffic conditions of the public transport in the locality (intensity and composition of the traffic flow, passenger traffic structure, traffic lights regime, atmospheric conditions, etc.). The paper assesses the regularity of mass urban passenger transport traffic in the conditions of the city of Ruse, Bulgaria, by probing the estimation of the arrival intervals of the means of transport at the stops along a given route.

The measurement of the complex and the differential geometric parameters in the production process of cylindrical, square and rectangular rolling shaped metal profiles will inevitably lead to a rise in the production quality. The dynamism of the technological process and the influence of great number of outside factors over geometrical parameters of revolving, enforce development of an electronic measurement system, which reliably reads and preserves measured data immediately in the production process of rolling shaped metal. The accomplished electronic measurement system for monitoring of geometric parameters of rolling shaped metal performs an active firsthand control in the production process, for the purpose of management of the quality of the finished production.

Pomiar kompleksowych i różnicowych geometrycznych parametrów w trakcie produkcji cylindrycznych, kwadratowych i prostokątnych wytłaczanych wyrobów niewątpliwie zwiększa jakość gotowej produkcji. Dynamika procesu technologicznego oraz wpływ zewnętrznych czynników na parametry wyrobów narzuca wprowadzanie elektronicznego systemu pomiarowego, który w trakcie produkcji mierzy i przechowywuje dane pomiarów. Zrealizowany elektroniczny system pomiarowy do kontroli parametrów geometrycznych profili produkowanych na liniach wytłaczakowych pozwala na aktywną kontrolę w trakcie produkcji i równocześnie zwiększa jakość gotowej produkcji.

DD-MIC(0) preconditioning of rotated trilinear FEM elasticity systems

New results about preconditioning of rotated trilinear nonconforming FEM elasticity systems in the case of mesh anisotropy are presented. The solver of the arising linear system is based on the constructed efficient preconditioner of the coupled stiffness matrix. Displacement decomposition of the stiffness matrix is used as a first step of the algorithm. At the second step, modified incomplete factorization MIC(0) with perturbation is applied to a proper auxiliary M-matrix to get an approximate factorization of the obtained block-diagonal matrix. The derived condition number estimates and the presented numerical tests well illustrate the behaviour of the theoretically studied algorithms as well as their robustness for some more realistic benchmark problems.
